IKON NURSING COLLEGE

A 2 year post graduate course offered to those students who have a GNM registration from the nursing council. We strive to ensure that the students will become independent, dedicated health professionals.

The programme is intended to enable the graduates assume responsibilities as professional competent nurse and midwife at basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. The graduates made independent decisions in nursing situations protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the practice. They are also expected to assume the role o teacher, supervisor, and manager in clinical / public health settings.
